COT Electrical Students take 3rd & 4th in Recent Competition
Our electrical technology students recently competed in this year’s Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine sponsored Craft Championship event held at the Augusta Civic Center. This competition is for both first and second year electrical students which allows them to demonstrate their skills and knowledge against each other as well as students from all of the other technical high school electrical students in the state.
This year Hunter Parenteau, a TA student, placed third in the second year student competition and Blake Douston, also from TA, placed fourth in the first year student competition. Our other participants were Alex Jeffers, BHS and Cameron Carreiro, TA. Considering that there were 1200 students, adults, state legislators and business folks in attendance all four of BRCOT competitors did a great job at handling all of attention and represented our school and community well.
Congratulations to all of them on a job well done.
