Local Entrepreneur visits Business Academy – Medical Assisting Program
The Business Academy – Medical Assisting Program enjoyed a visit to class from Laurie Hale; Laurie owns and operates the business The Dazzling Diva located in Biddeford. She started her home based business in 2002, using Swarovski crystals to add sparkle to anything you can imagine. She is a single mother of five children that has grown her business (primarily via social networking) to acquiring significant orders from celebrities including: Rosie O’Donnell, Howie Mandell, Snooki, Jay-Z and Beyonce and the New Jersey Housewives to name a few. Laurie Hale has built a very successful business that is now global. The students were a very attentive audience as she shared her philosophies on hard work, perseverance and following one’s dreams.
